Arlington-based Interstate Hotels & Resorts has been awarded three new management agreements.
They involve the dual-branded Hyatt House and Hyatt Place SeaTac in Washington state developed by Seattle-based Lou Development and a luxury resort in Southern California's Temecula wine region, tentatively named Twelve Oaks Resort, developed by Standard Portfolio.
Breaking ground next year, the 132-room Hyatt House and the 237-room Hyatt Place will begin construction near the Seattle Tacoma (Sea-Tac) International Airport with plans to open in 2019.
On the West Coast, Standard Portfolio is developing a 700-acre mixed-use project including a vineyard, resort, event space, and residential living in the heart of California's Temecula Valley Wine Country.
When the property opens, Interstate will operate the 251-room resort, restaurants and event space. Groundbreaking is scheduled for mid-2018, with the resort expected to open in 2020.
Interstate operates hotels, resorts and convention centers in 10 countries. Its global portfolio currently includes 440 properties with more than 80,600 rooms including hotels under construction or development.
