New Grand Mart has signed a lease to open its second Richmond location in West Broad Commons, according to Broad Street Realty.
The international grocery store, which offers ethnic specialty items, will lease a 39,386-square-foot building at 9031 W. Broad St. It will replace a Food Lion that is closing.
New Grand Mart currently operates three stores in the Washington, D.C., area and one in Chesterfield County.
Connie Jordan Nielsen, Nicki Jassy, and Alicia Farrell of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer represented the landlord, Broad Street Realty, in the lease negotiations. Broad Street Realty will be renovating the shopping center’s façade and pylon.
