CSi Packaging to establish office in Henrico County

CSi Packaging, an advanced manufacturing firm based in the Netherlands, plans to locate a sales and service office in Henrico County.
The company expects to hire 20 employees and invest $260,000 in the 7,000-square-foot office at 5360 S. Laburnum Ave.  in the Interport Business Center.

CSi is relocating its office from Florida. The company also explored a site in North Carolina.
CSi, which supplies integrated material handling systems, has installations throughout the world. The company provides a complete palletizing package from initial consultancy and design, to production, assembly, delivery, installation and commissioning.

“The proximity to existing customers helped sway the company’s decision to relocate to the Richmond region,” said Rowena Fratarcangelo, vice president of business development at the Greater Richmond Partnership, said in a statement. “Dominion Packaging and Amcor, both based in Greater Richmond, are pre-existing customers.”

The partnership worked with the Henrico County Economic Development Authority’s Business Attraction Manager Twyla Powell on the project. The lead originated with Ryland Potter, managing director – Europe and the UK, at the Virginia Economic Development Partnership.
