Former VACO office buildings in downtown Roanoke sell for $3.3 million

The Poe & Cronk Real Estate Group has announced the sale of three retail and office buildings located on Market Street in
downtown Roanoke formerly known as the VACO Building.

308, 312, and 314 Market Street sold for $3.3 million to Alcova Mortgage LLC from the Virginia Association of Counties Group Self Insurance Risk Pool.

As part of Alcova’s continued long-term investment in downtown Roanoke,  Poe and Cronk said the company will relocate its corporate headquarters into the space, occupying 17,500 square feet on the second and third floors above the retail storefronts.

Poe’s Bryan Musselwhite and Stephen Pendergrass represented the purchaser in the transaction. Frank Martin of Hall Associates represented the seller.
