Arlington-based Gibbs & Cox Inc., a naval architecture and marine engineering firm, has promoted Kevin Prince to vice president in the company’s engineering group. He previously was assistant vice president.
In his new role, Prince will be responsible for management and execution of engineering services for a broad range of commercial, government and international clients. Prince has spent 22 years of his 36-year engineering career at Gibbs & Cox.
More than 8,000 vessels have been built to Gibbs & Cox designs since 1929. In addition to its headquarters in Arlington, the company has offices in Newport News, Chesapeake, New York, Philadelphia, New Orleans and Washington, D.C.
