2nd & Charles, a subsidiary of Books-A-Million, has leased 36,125 square feet of space in the Tuckernuck Square shopping center in Henrico County. This is the company’s second store in the Richmond region.
According to CBRE|Richmond, which brokered the lease, the store specializes in trading used books, audio books, CDs, DVDs, video game systems, vinyl records and accessories. New merchandise also is available for purchase along with musical instruments and autographed books.
Customers can bring in new or lightly used items to the store at 9004 West Broad Street to be sold for cash or store credit.
The store chain, which has locations in 15 states, typically stocks more than 500,000 items. The Tuckernuck store is the company’s third in Virginia. The other stores are located in Midlothian and Woodbridge. The Midlothian location opened in February.
Rob Black, Robby Brownfield, and Chris Doyle of CBRE/Richmond represented 2nd and Charles in the transaction.
