Cyber accelerator picks six startups for spring program

The Mach37 Cyber Accelerator in Herndon has picked six cybersecurity startups to participate in its three-month spring program.

To date, the program, which was developed by the Center for Innovative Technology, has helped launch 35 companies since 2013.

Mach 37 is an intensive, 90-day program in which startup executives are mentored in all aspects of creating a successful business. Comnpanies selected for the program each receive a $50,000 investment.

The six startups participating in the spring program are:

Gyomo: founded by Quincy Acklen and Ben Gatti.
 
Hill Top Security:  Steve Baker, Tom Gilmore and Neil Wright

NormShield: Mohamoud Jibrell and Candan Bolukbas

• PCPursuit: Robert Walker
