Timothy E. Klocko has been named vice president for finance and treasurer at Sweet Briar College, effective March 1.
Klocko comes to Sweet Briar from Thomas University in Thomasville, Ga., where he has been senior vice president for administration and finance.
At Thomas, Klocko oversaw all accounting functions as well as the administrative areas of human resources, bookstore, post office, facilities, information technology, campus security and food service.
Klocko holds a CPA certificate from the state of Iowa, a master’s degree in business administration with an accounting emphasis, as well as a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Mo.
Klocko replaces Thomas N. Connors, who has served as interim vice president and treasurer since July 2015.
