Kroger completes purchase of land in Colonial Heights for a new store

Kroger has completed the acquisition of a 10.7-acre site at 401 Temple Ave. in Colonial Heights. According to Taylor Long Properties Commercial Real Estate, which brokered the sale, the city of Colonial Heights sold the parcel to Kroger Limited Partnership for $2.6 million.
The new store is scheduled to open in early 2017. Janice Logue of Taylor Long in Glen Allen represented the seller.
In other deals for Taylor Long:
Goodwill leased 14,842 square feet at 8018 West Broad St. in Richmond. Taylor Long’s Mike Weisberg represented the landlord.
Kindred Brothers Brewery leased 10,500 square feet at 12830 West Creek Parkway in Richmond. Brian Bock represented the tenant.
