Beth JoJack //February 2, 2026//
As site executive at Micron Technology Virginia, the company’s semiconductor manufacturing facility for computer memory chips, Parks oversees more than 1,230 employees at one of Virginia’s largest exporters. Under his leadership, Micron has received numerous awards, including being named Business of the Year by the City of Manassas.
Parks, who joined Micron in 2021, worked as an electrician during high school before earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics and mathematics from Stephen F. Austin State University. He began his career at Philips Electronics before moving to Texas Instruments in 2004, where he rose through the ranks to become site manager for multiple factories. Parks serves on the boards of Norfolk State University and the George Mason University Foundation as well as Opportunity Scholars. He’s a member of the Virginia Business Higher Education Council.
Micron announced a $2.17 billion investment in its Manassas facility in December 2024 to modernize the site and enable production of dynamic random access memory (DRAM) chips.
In June, the Trump administration highlighted Micron’s plans to make $200 billion in domestic investments in semiconductor manufacturing and research and development — reflecting $30 billion in investments not previously announced. Micron reported fiscal 2025 revenue of $37.38 billion, up from $25.11 billion in 2024.
