2025 Women In Leadership Application



To be considered for this the 2025 Women In Leadership Awards, each nominee must complete an application by April 18, 2025. Each nominee has the opportunity to submit up to 3 optional letters of reference.Please know that all fields are required. Thank you for your time and contribution to the community.

Eligibility:


    Women in Leadership Awards nominees must have their primary work office in Virginia and must hold a top corporate executive position (CEO, COO, CFO, etc.) or equivalent job (executive director, owner, etc.). Past winners of the Virginia Business Women in Leadership Awards are not eligible. Multiple applications for the same nominee are not necessary and will not increase the nominee’s chances of being selected.
Please note: Information provided in this application may be used in the awards publication. If there is any information you provide in your answers that you don’t want publicized, please indicate this clearly on your application

  • What awards/honors have you been most proud to receive? List most recent first and include year, award/honor name and awarding institution. (Ex. 2006, Maryland’s Top 100 Women, The Daily Record)
  • Provide a brief description of your leadership style and vision for your organization. Especially focus on your philosophy for leading people and managing through tough economic times.
  • Provide a brief description of your particular strengths in regard to competitiveness and innovation. Be as specific as possible about innovative ideas that have come to fruition under your leadership; results of the innovations and how they have helped your organization stay competitive in the marketplace.
