In this special section, Virginia Lawyers Weekly and Virginia Business celebrate the accomplishments of our 2025 In-House Counsel Awards honorees.
The honorees selected this year were chosen for a variety of reasons.
Many played a major role in growing their companies or developing their legal teams. Our honorees work in a variety of industries, from health care to financial services to technology, and play integral roles at their places of business, where they face the daily challenge of balancing legal constraints against business needs. They also devote significant time to community outreach and pro bono work.
The profiles that follow offer some insight into the accomplishments that led us to select this year’s class, who were celebrated at a special event on Nov. 7, 2025, at the John Marshall Ballrooms in Richmond.
